I’m Iain (ee-in). I’m originally from Scotland, but have called Toronto, Canada, “home” for most of my adult life.
I have an interest in technology, particularly open-source technology, and spend a lot of my time learning about it. I graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Political Science, and I try to keep up to date on global affairs as well as goings on in Scottish politics.
I adore the Toronto Public Library, and I read a range of nonfiction, historical fiction, and cookbooks. I like to cook.
I prefer walking to public transit, and listen to a lot of podcasts, mostly about sports and technology, as I walk across the city. I also like to listen to music in other languages, particularly French, Spanish, and Portuguese.
My other time is mostly spent working on personal projects or spending time with friends. I also like to fish and play football (as long as I can play in goal).
